Nestled in the heart of Braunton, the Black Horse is a historic 400-year-old establishment that has served locals and visitors alike for centuries.


We offer a traditional warm & welcoming bar area for both regulars & visitors alike, to enjoy a friendly, sociable drink in great company. 2025 also introduces our brand new  restaurant, Driftwood. Situated away from the busy bar, this offers a refined, yet informal dining space where you can enjoy what we firmly believe to be the best food in the village.

Add to that the development of our new courtyard, as well as our patio terrace area, we are now the perfect destination to soak up the summer sunshine, whilst enjoying a drink.
